I finally finished my two paintings "The Rotation of Pluto" and "The Rotation of Charon". Is it ok to admit that they were really difficult to paint? A challenging fun puzzle - looking forward to more of those!

I also finished another sports painting. It is much looser than my rotation ones. Fast and fun!

I am still working on a plein-air (on site) landscape of the barn at Wilder Ranch, in Santa Cruz, CA. Need to finish it before it starts raining!

2011 had quite a few highlights: Painting at the Looff Carousel at the Boardwalk, participating in Open Studios in Santa Cruz, joining Scotts Valley Artisans, and enjoying my new studio space.
