This blog is for the purpose of gathering user feedback, relaying pertinent information, and harnessing enthusiasm for the Santa Cruz Design + Innovation Center(SCD+IC). As you all should be aware, this is a non-profit project that is oriented towards the immediate Santa Cruz community, and is designed to provide opportunities within the design and innovation realm. This virtual online space will connect strong thinkers, meaning anything from architects and artists to business managers and lawyers, in an attempt to create a large demand for our brand name(nationally and globally), which will progress our local economy. With participation and grass roots campaigning, SCD+IC will become a recognized brand name in no time at all. I am very enthusiastic about the future, and hope that you can see the same potential.

We are currently interested in people that would be willing to come into the NextSpace office downtown to do some beta testing for the website. This entails simply completing assigned tasks on the website and then giving us feedback on the functionality, or any input you feel is necessary. Updates : We are in the process of putting interactive forums into the registered user section, so members can communicate efficiently. I want to emphasize the efforts of this community are composed of the individual members involved. During the initial stages(now) each participant has an exceptionally strong influence so feel free to give us any feedback or concerns. Simply respond to this blog!
