Andrew founded Biosphere in 2005 and brings over thirteen years of diverse experience working as a local consulting engineering geologist and wastewater system designer. Andrew is registered as a Professional Geologist (P.G. #7453). His experience and knowledge of the principles of earth science has proved to provide a critical advantage in the design of systems that ultimately rely on the ability of a given site's soil conditions to provide sufficient infiltration. Throughout his career, Andrew has been responsible for the successful execution of a vast array of challenging projects. While he has played a primary role in many geologic engineering projects that have focused on the evaluation of geologic hazards, his more current emphasis has been in the innovation and design of onsite wastewater systems. His experience includes the design and permitting of hundreds of residential and commercial engineered wastewater treatment and dispersal systems that incorporate "alternative" technology.

Andrew is a California native and grew up in Santa Cruz County where he now lives with his wife and two boys. “I love what I do and love where I live and work!
